Compatible Software

Two TIMEZERO products are compatible with the FURUNO PC-Radar:

  • TZ Trident
  • TZ Catch

The FURUNO DRS4DCM comes bundled with a 15-Meter “Siamese” type cable (Power/Ethernet) and the Power Supply unit PSU017 that is used to power the Radar. There is a 30-Meter cable available as an upgrade option.

Connection Diagram

Connect the included PSU017 (radar power supply unit) to the included radar cable and the Ethernet cable to a Hub or Switch (not supplied). The PSU017 is used to power the Radar and needs to be connect to a 12 or 24 volt power source.

Connect your PC that is running TIMEZERO software to the Hub or Switch using a regular Ethernet cable (not supplied). Finally, connect your instruments (GPS, Heading sensor, etc.) as usual using NMEA 0183 (Serial COM ports) or NMEA 2000 (via the Actisense NGT1).
